Keong Saik & Teck Lim Road: A Pre-Dinner Walk Before French Dinner

Around Our Neighbourhood: An Afternoon and Evening on Teck Lim Road

One of the things I love most about Chez Suzette Singapore is where we are.

Tucked away at 5 Teck Lim Road, we are surrounded by one of those special pockets of Singapore

where colourful shophouses, old façades, restaurants and bars all come together.

It is a neighbourhood with history, character and a charm

that changes beautifully from afternoon to evening.

A Neighbourhood With a Story

Historic Street in Singapore

Teck Lim and nearby Keong Saik are part of Singapore’s historic Chinatown area, known for their

conserved shophouses and layered past. Today, these streets have evolved into a lively dining and

nightlife destination, while still keeping much of their original architectural character.

That mix of old and new is exactly what makes the area so memorable.

Come a Little Earlier

If you are joining us for dinner, arrive a little before your reservation.

Take a slow walk along Keong Saik Road and Bukit Pasoh, admire the shophouses,

enjoy the atmosphere as the neighbourhood begins to light up,

then make your way back to Teck Lim Road.

There is no need to plan too much.

Sometimes the best part is simply wandering.

Then, Dinner at Chez Suzette

After exploring the neighbourhood, settle in with us at Chez Suzette.

Start with a glass of wine, share a few French classics,

enjoy your mains, and save a little room for our desserts.

For us, dinner is never meant to feel rushed.

It is about good food, conversation and taking a little more time around the table.

At Chez Suzette, we are proud to be part of

a neighbourhood that has always had a story to tell.

From its historic shophouses and hidden corners to the bars, restaurants

and conversations that now bring the streets to life,

Teck Lim and Keong Saik are places best experienced slowly.

Because sometimes, the most memorable nights are not about one destination.

They are about the whole neighbourhood and the stories you collect along the way.

Come for Chez Suzette. Stay for Teck Lim. Remember the evening
